A mixed bag for sure
I checked in and the hallway looked great, clean and bright. The friendly staff helped me quickly to get to my room and the wifi was actually strong, which is rare in my experience.
It wasn’t inexpensive but still acceptable.

The bed felt very comfortable. I liked how spacious the room was and the overall setup was decent. However, we dealt with a few inconveniences. The bathroom cleanliness was lacking. I found trash in the trash can and dirt on the floors. The TV didn’t work properly, which was kind of frustrating during the stay. Plus, the front desk staff struggled with the check-in system, which added unnecessary wait time. I also noticed issues like a lack of towels, and we only got one towel for each bed. Breakfast options were really limited, too, which was disappointing. Overall, a mixed experience. if they focused on cleanliness and improving their services, it could definitely turn around for the better.

We had a nice stay with our grandchildren at this hotel. The pool was a big hit with the kids, especially after spending a day fishing nearby. Plus, the staff was friendly and tried to accommodate us as best as they could during our visit.
My wife says that the room cleanliness was disappointing. It would be great if the management could improve maintenance for families staying with children.

missingWrote a review on Jun 23old smoke smellbroken hair dryer
Got a Queen Room with Two Queen Beds. The positivity stopped right after check-in. The room smelled stale, like old smoke. No shower curtain—had to grab one from the front desk myself. Hair dryer was broken, and nobody came to fix it. Made multiple requests for towels, but got denied. The TV was a mess. had to do my own troubleshooting. Ended up switching hotels on the last night. Just not a good vibe at all.

Comfortable Stay Despite Challenges
We enjoyed a comfortable stay with friendly staff eager to assist us. There were some hiccups with outdated technology and post-flooding issues, but the kindness from employees made a difference. Bring snacks just in case, as dining options were limited during our visit.

Just a great match for a weekend jaunt in Donaldsonville with good price-value balance. The shower had a multi-setting head, which was awesome. If you're sensitive to odors, you might want to bring air freshener.
